What this site collects directly
There is no account, login or newsletter sign-up, so no name or email address is collected simply by reading. Two features store a small value in your own browser rather than on a server:
- Saved ideas. When you save an article, its identifier is written to your browser's local storage so the list survives a reload.
- Text size. The larger-text setting is remembered the same way.
Neither value leaves your device and neither is readable by this site's operator. Clearing site data in your browser removes them, along with other preferences for this site.
Server logs
Serving a page requires a request to the hosting provider, which records standard technical information: the IP address making the request, the page requested, the time, the referring page and basic browser and device details. These logs exist to deliver the site, keep it available and investigate abuse. They are not used to build advertising profiles by this publication.
Advertising and the cookies it sets
This site is a Google AdSense publisher, and the AdSense script is loaded on every page. That means third parties, not just this site, process some data about your visit.

No separate analytics product is installed. Google Search Console is used to see how pages perform in search results; it reports aggregated queries and counts, not individual readers.
